At Freightzilla, we operate under the strictest international data protection frameworks to secure your logistics data, trade secrets, and personal information.

1. Multi-Jurisdictional Compliance

**European Union (GDPR):** Freightzilla strictly adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. We enforce absolute data minimization, explicit consent workflows, and the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) for all platform users.

**Republic of Kazakhstan (Law No. 94-V):** In compliance with the Law on Personal Data and Their Protection, all personal data belonging to citizens and registered legal entities of Kazakhstan is physically processed and localized on servers housed within the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Self-Hosted Infrastructure & Data Isolation

To guarantee zero vendor lock-in and prevent third-party data exploitation, Freightzilla is deployed as a standalone infrastructure.

  • Our databases run on isolated PostgreSQL clusters.
  • Operational logs are decoupled from permanent storage to prevent accidental data leakage.
  • Heavy compliance documents (KYC/KYB) are stored in localized, S3-compatible cold storage (Cloudflare R2).

3. Business Audit Trails vs. Operational Logs

We maintain a strict physical separation between system telemetry and your business data. Operational metadata never includes Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Highly sensitive transactional events (e.g., escrow initiation, document verification) are written exclusively to ACID-compliant database tables under rigid Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
