Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 2026.
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Freightzilla platform, including our Escrow, Carrier Load Board, and Forwarding Exchange services.
1. Platform Role & Guarantor Limitations
Freightzilla operates as a digital logistics marketplace and an authorized financial escrow agent for transactions conducted exclusively on the platform. We act as a guarantor for funds held in escrow, ensuring payment release upon verifiable Proof of Delivery (POD). We do not own, operate, or maintain any transport vehicles.
2. Escrow & Payment Settlement
By utilizing the Freightzilla Secure Trade feature, shippers agree to deposit the full quoted amount into a secure escrow account prior to dispatch. Carriers agree that funds will only be dispersed upon successful upload and validation of required delivery documentation.
3. Integrated Insurance
Cargo protection purchased through Freightzilla is underwritten by our designated third-party insurance partners. Freightzilla facilitates the policy creation but is not liable for final claim adjudications.
